A Letter to My Younger Self: Speak Your Truth, Even if Your Voice Shakes
You don’t need permission to be real. Speak your truth, even if your voice shakes. The universe can only meet the version of you that shows up.

A Letter to My Younger Self: Speak Your Truth, Even if Your Voice Shakes
You don’t need anyone’s permission to become who you already are.
If I could go back and whisper one truth into my younger self’s heart, it would be this:
You have to find yourself first.
Not in someone else.
Not in success or status or approval.
But in your own breath.
In your own silence.
In your own soul.
For years, I sought validation outside of me.
I thought if I brought good energy, kept the peace, and swallowed the hard things, people would love me more.
Respect me more.
But it doesn't work like that.
Not when you’re abandoning your truth in the process.
Self-respect is where life starts to make sense
You don’t need external approval.
You need self-love.
You need self-respect.
And when you start living in alignment with your soul, when you actually show up for yourself, life starts to make sense in ways you never thought possible.
I spent too many days holding back.
Not speaking up.
Swallowing my dreams and doubts because I didn’t want to bring anyone down.
But here’s the truth:
Silence doesn’t protect your peace if it costs you your self-worth.
Speak up, even when it’s hard
At work, I kept everything inside.
Always trying to be the light.
Always choosing positivity over honesty.
But peace without truth isn’t peace. It’s performance.
If you don’t speak up for your goals, your dreams, your truth, how is anyone supposed to know how to support you?
How can the universe align with something you’ve never said out loud?
You don’t get the life you want by pretending.
You get it by declaring.
By honoring your voice and letting it echo beyond your fear.
Your words are spells
There’s a reason we call it spelling.
Every word you speak is a spell.
So stop using your voice to cast doubt.
Start using it to build yourself.
Talk to yourself with grace.
With compassion.
With reverence.
You are the creator of your world, and your words are the blueprint.
Say what you want.
Say who you are.
Say what hurts.
Say what heals.
When you speak truth, even if your voice shakes, you give the universe something to respond to.
And if it doesn’t go how you hoped?
It’s still OK.
Because you showed up real.
And that’s the kind of energy that always finds its way home.
Let the truth set you free
I would tell my younger self this:
You are a piece of the universe.
You don’t need to chase answers, they already live inside you.
You don’t need to protect everyone else’s feelings at the expense of your own.
Let them deal with their own healing.
You focus on your freedom.
Your truth.
Your peace.
Forget the noise.
Forget the pressure.
Forget the expectations.
Live for the two things that matter most
Time freedom and financial freedom.
That’s the goal.
The rest is noise.
“Fuck everyone but yo mama.” –Rasowski
Not out of spite, but out of sacred focus.
You get one life. Don’t spend it proving yourself to people who don't even know what they're living for.
Final whisper
If you're still searching for the permission to be real,
This is it.
Speak your truth.
Let it break the cycle.
Let it break you free.
