Follow Friday - Following Jesus When Everything Feels Like a Setup
This Follow Friday wrestles with feeling studied, set up, and spiritually tested while still choosing to follow Jesus in real time. Even when people play long games, you’re reminded that God’s will, love, and purpose outlast every attempt to dim your shine.
Some seasons make you want to look up at Heaven and say, “What in the actual fuck was that?”
It felt less like life and more like a case study - like someone was watching two people they knew had a cosmic connection and whispering, “Whatever you do, don’t let them fall for each other. That would be a problem. Let’s ruin their lives in advance instead.”
I know what a divine, written‑in‑the‑stars connection feels like.
Whatever that was, it didn’t start on earth.
And to whoever thought it was a good idea to play games with people’s hearts and futures: I hope you’re proud of yourselves, because the trauma that followed was not an accident.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 (KJV)
There are only two agendas in play: steal/kill/destroy or life/abundance.
When you’re following Jesus, you learn to tell the difference - even when it’s wrapped in spiritual language.
Studied, Tested, and Set Up
It felt like we were being studied all the while trillions of dollars was being made while my pockets stayed small - allegedly - but I can confirm.
Like there was a whole invisible rulebook that said: “You two can work together, maybe even be in close proximity - but you better not actually see each other, know each other, or be honest with each other.”
I started to feel like there was a long game at play:
- Act like I’m off balance when I’ve never been more grounded in my life.
- Throw grenades into work and home at the same time - thanks jackasses.
- Create just enough chaos that it looks like I’m being set up to go after Jess, which I would never do - ever.
I love you, but not like that - and definitely not enough to play in something I don’t understand.
It felt like Jess wasn’t allowed to be honest.
Like Tony wasn’t allowed to be honest.
Like Zach wasn’t allowed to be honest.
It felt like nobody could be honest because I should have never been seen in the first place - oops. And I know they all have good hearts. You have to be OK knowing that there are some f'ed up people in this world.
(If you ever find yourself in a scenario where you know there are allegedly multiple teams/agencies/military involvement it is time to step out until the smoke clears because you may just very well have been a catalyst for an event that was written in the stars - whatever that may be)
“God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.”
1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV)
So if the whole thing feels like confusion layered on top of silence, you can be sure God didn’t script it that way.
More Supporters Than Non‑Supporters
Here’s the thing: even in the madness, I could feel there were more supporters than non‑supporters.
Which is probably why some of those relationships were targeted in the first place.
If the enemy can’t take you out directly, he’ll go after the people around you.
If this was “for my safety” or “for the greater good,” then someone should have sat me down and said, “Here’s the truth.” - I shouldn't have to isolate to lick my fucking wounds in confusion - but I will survive and do my best to appreciate all of the invisible help along the way - doesn't mean I have to pretend to be happy all the time.
You don’t protect a grown man by keeping him in the dark.
Whatever this is, it feels like the ultimate long game - and I’m not interested in playing games with my life.
I want to be rich and happy, in the most holistic sense of the word:
rich in peace, rich in love, rich in resources, rich in purpose.
And I believe we’re still moving toward that.
“If God be for us, who can be against us?”
Romans 8:31 (KJV)
If God is truly for us, then no long game, no hidden agenda, no spiritual experiment can rewrite His final say.
Follow Jesus, Not Control
You can choose what you believe without forcing it down anybody’s throat.
Want to worship the Devil? That’s your free will.
I don’t want any part of it, but I’m not here to run your life.
At the same time, don’t push it on me and then act shocked when I step away.
I will always encourage people to follow the commandments, to honor God, to love like Jesus.
But I also recognize free will is real.
Use it in a way that benefits the world, not just your ego or your pocket.
Fatten your pockets for sure - there’s nothing holy about staying broke on purpose - but never forget the main goal is love, not money.
“Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
Matthew 22:36–39 (KJV)
Following Jesus in everyday moments looks like this:
Love God.
Love people.
Stop trying to control what was never yours to manage, please and thank you.
You Can Dim a Light, But You Can’t Erase It
I don’t write this blog because I think I’m better than anyone else.
I write it because I’m committed to being better than the version of me I was yesterday.
I craft this story with the full intention of walking it out in my own shoes. I will not be placed in a box on purpose - I could care less about anything much aside from myself and my 2 boys everyone else not aligned is just noise I don't care to hear and what needs to align will show in due time.
You can dim someone’s shine for a season.
You can throw shade, spread rumors, restrict information, and twist narratives.
But God’s will is God’s will.
If He wrote it, He will see it through, in His way and His timing.
I don’t believe I went through what I did for nothing.
Whatever that connection was, it was otherworldly.
You had the brother in the first half, but a brother is going to keep walking, trusting that what is meant to be shall be.
“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
If Jesus started the work, Jesus will finish it.
No hidden committee can cancel that.
Follow Friday Practice – Choosing Jesus in the Wild Moments
As you step into this Follow Friday, try this simple practice:
- Name the confusion.
Write down one situation that has felt like a setup, experiment, or long game in your life. - Separate God from the chaos.
Ask: “Does this carry the fruit of Jesus (love, peace, truth), or the fruit of fear and control?” - Bless the people, reject the game.
Pray for the hearts involved, but consciously step out of anything that does not feel honest or aligned. - Re‑commit to your own path.
Declare: “I choose to follow Jesus in how I love, create, and move, not in how others try to manage my story.” - Visualize a brighter tomorrow.
See yourself rich in love, stable in purpose, and surrounded by people who are allowed to tell the truth.
Closing Whisper
Jesus,
Thank You for walking with me through a story I barely understand.
Thank You for every unseen support, every quiet intercession, and every way You kept my mind and heart when it felt like life itself had turned into a lab experiment.
I lift up every person who has felt studied, controlled, or set up.
I ask You to break the spirit of confusion and expose anything that is not from You.
Let love - not fear, not control, not ego - be the loudest frequency in our lives.
Teach me how to follow You in the everyday moments:
in the emails I send and in the way I speak about people who may never apologize.
Keep my heart soft, my discernment sharp, and my hope alive.
You know the connections that are real, the futures that are written in Your book, and the purpose behind every test.
I surrender the long game I don’t understand and choose to trust the story You are writing.
Let tomorrow be brighter, not because everything is perfect, but because I am walking it with You.
In Your name I pray,
Amen.
You are not behind... you are not lost... just keep transmuting.

PS - Favor isn't Fair. I wouldn't bet against me.
EugeniasThought: When your emotions are intentionally targeted just walk through it and transmute it however you can to walk in alignment - you can't miss in alignment. You are going to piss a lot of people off but your feelings trump anyone else's.
Words matter. Never forget how powerful you are. When it is your turn make sure you stay strong like I did. I knew my team had been in place for years just waiting to stomp dick - in the most Patriotic American way - I just needed to pull my head out of my ass and I thank God I was able to do just that and I am thankful for all the support although I have bitched a lot about the shitty hand I was dealt I am very blessed and lucky - even with all the sickos that have been in my life.
Remember don't force outcomes just surrender to the flow. My soul doesn't stand in line it creates new ones.
jmf 💘 - when 2 are removed 1 is revealed - keep shining beautiful soul
Always remember fairy tales do come true but you don't get to orchestrate them.
Every word is a whisper of intention, carved in stillness and light.
🎧 Frequency Feature: Can't Fight This Feeling
“Can’t Fight This Feeling” fits this Follow Friday because it captures what happens when a connection or calling refuses to be buried, no matter how much confusion or interference surrounds it. The song echoes that sense of finally admitting what’s real in your heart - choosing honesty, surrender, and forward motion with God -rather than continuing to play along with a script that was never truly yours.

Your Journey Starts Here
Many have asked during my TikTok Lives how to begin their personal or spiritual journey. So far, I've explored and mapped the first three stages for those seeking alignment - the awakening, the journey inward, and the path forward.
These stages have brought profound clarity, and I'm grateful to share what I've discovered along the way.
There are still a few details unfolding, but trust that everything is aligning in its own time - and you'll be the first to know when it's ready.
Remember, this is love being transmuted into art; growth takes time, and you can't rush an actual journey, beautiful souls. In due time, all the right energy falls into place. Just have faith. Hold the vision.
