Frequency Thursday: Hearing God in a Multi‑Level World

When betrayal gets louder than your own thoughts, Frequency Thursday invites you to tune past the noise and lock into God’s frequency. This reflection explores 3D betrayal, 5D truth, and the courage to keep your integrity when you’ve been studied, tested, and held back.

Frequency Thursday: Hearing God in a Multi‑Level World
A woman stands on a glowing path as God’s light exposes betrayal and leads her forward in bold, unshakable faith.

If life feels a little like Ready Player One, you are not wrong. In the movie, people escape into the OASIS, a virtual world where they choose avatars, chase clues, and try to win a hidden prize, all while real life still waits outside the headset. A lot of us live like that spiritually - we move through the “3D” of our everyday lives while something much deeper is happening in the “5D,” the unseen world of the soul where God is always speaking and guiding.

For me, the “noise” of life is actually pretty tranquil but doesn't mean my anger doesn't shine through from time to time. I love being outside during the day, feeling the sun on my skin (with sunscreen, of course), hearing birds, cars, distant conversation - just the hum of life. Out there, it is easier for me to remember that this physical world is real and important, but it is not the whole story. There is a spiritual frequency underneath everything, and when I slow down enough to tune in, God’s voice is never truly silent.

“And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face…”
1 Kings 19:12–13 (NIV)

3D Choices, 5D Connection

In Ready Player One, the players move between the real world and the OASIS, but their choices in each realm affect the other. That is how I see life with God: the “3D” is what we see, touch, and do every day - our work, relationships, money, conversations, and habits. The “5D” is our soul connection with God and others, that deep inner knowing where your spirit locks in and says, “This is real. This matters.”

The 5D is where God’s voice resonates, where peace shows up even before circumstances change, and where your spirit signs off on a person or situation because something about it feels aligned, honest, and safe. The 3D is where character and integrity either confirm that connection or betray it. You can tell me anything in the 3D, but I watch what you do. Do your actions match your words? Do you treat people with respect when no one is watching? That is where the game is truly won or lost.

“For we live by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)

When Betrayal Gets Louder Than God’s Voice

Some weeks, the loudest sound in your life is not traffic, notifications, or conversations. It is betrayal. It is realizing that while you were working, creating, and trying to build something that could bless everyone, other people were quietly targeting your job, your relationships, and your opportunities. It can feel like the whole game has been rigged around you: your “big stuff poppin’” moment somehow shifted into someone else stealing the “poppin’” you prayed and worked for.

From a 3D standpoint, it looks like loss, sabotage, and silence from people who know exactly what was done. But in the 5D - in that spiritual layer where God sees motive, intention, and every hidden move - none of it is missed. When you know who you are, what you’ve sown, and what you’re entitled to because you’ve done the work, it changes how you read betrayal. It still hurts, but it no longer defines you. It simply reveals people.

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done…”
Genesis 50:20 (NIV)

The 5D Truth About Character and Integrity

When you live with one foot in the 3D and one foot in the 5D, betrayal hits different. You start to see how small it really is compared to what God is building. In the 3D, people might copy your ideas, mimic your style, or slide in behind the scenes to profit from your shine, but they cannot replicate your anointing. They cannot steal the part of you that was born to lead. They can compete with your work; they cannot compete with your calling.

If there was some unseen “competition” going on, the real win is not who grabbed the most attention or money. The real win is who stood on business - who kept their character intact, who refused to sell out their integrity for a quick gain, who chose obedience to God over manipulation. There are no true get‑rich‑quick schemes in the Kingdom. Either your 3D actions match your 5D alignment, or they don’t. Whatever looks flashy but is built on betrayal will eventually collapse.

“What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?”
Matthew 16:26 (NIV)

Calling Betrayal What It Is - and Still Choosing Blessing

Let’s be honest: some people need to repent. It is diabolical to watch someone grind, sacrifice, and try to create a way for everybody, then quietly cut them out or profit off their labor in the shadows. It is wrong to target the one who was carrying weight for the whole room, then fall silent when it is time to stand up and speak truth. That kind of betrayal is real, and it should be named.

But here is the tension: even when we tell the truth about betrayal, we still have to decide what kind of person we will be on the other side of it. Will we harden, get bitter, and start playing the same games? Or will we stay in the 5D - rooted in God’s love, confident in who we are, unwilling to let someone else’s lack of integrity pull us out of our own? Calling betrayal evil does not mean we lose ourselves. It means we trust God to deal with it His way and in His time (I struggle with this still).

“Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing…”
1 Peter 3:9 (NIV)

When Progress Feels Stalled

I will be honest - this last stretch has tested my patience. I have felt aggravated, restless, and frustrated by the lack of movement in the direction I know I am called to go. It can feel like being stuck on a level in the game, replaying the same scene over and over while the clock is ticking and you just want to break through.

In those moments, my mind goes straight to the construct of reality itself: time, timing, and how much of what we call “waiting” is really God positioning things in the background. I set my intentions toward the future I believe God is leading me into, I pray, and I do my best to manifest - not in an “I am my own god” way, but in a “I am aligning my desires and actions with God’s will” kind of way. I ask, I believe, I move in faith, and I also accept that sometimes I have to sit in the not knowing. That in‑between space can be extremely uncomfortable, especially when you can feel that something is shifting behind the scenes and yet none of the “directors” are willing to step into the light and put their name on what is happening.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Mark 11:24 (NIV)

Foot in the 3D, Foot in the 5D

You’ve reached a place where you are not afraid of death, because you know what is on the other side is pure bliss. When you live from that reality, betrayal loses some of its power. You understand that this life is important, but it is not ultimate. When you lead with the 5D - God’s presence, God’s voice, God’s standards - your 3D character and integrity fall in line almost automatically.

That doesn’t mean everything always works out the way you want, or on the timeline you imagined. There may very well have been schemes, contracts, strategies, or “plays” you were never informed about. You might have been the only one not in on whatever was happening behind the curtain. But the beautiful part is: you didn’t have to be. It was handled. You stayed in your lane, kept your heart as clean as you could, and trusted that God would pull you into something better. And He will, because He always does.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)

Frequency Practice: When You’ve Been Betrayed

If you want something practical for this Frequency Thursday, try this:

  1. Name the betrayal
Quietly say what happened and how it made you feel—no sugar‑coating, no minimizing.
  2. Separate your identity from their actions
Pray: “Lord, show me who I am in You, beyond what they did.”
  3. Ask for a 5D perspective
Invite the Holy Spirit to show you what is happening beneath the surface, and how God might still use this for good.
  4. Choose one act of integrity today
Pick a small, concrete action that aligns with your character—something that says, “I will not let this change who I am.”
  5. Release and trust
Pray: “God, I release revenge, and I trust You to handle what I cannot. Lead me into the future You intended all along.”

"Let them keep their schemes - God will keep your future. Stay tuned to His voice, stand on your integrity, and watch how every hidden betrayal becomes background noise to your breakthrough."

🎧 Frequency Feature: Show Off

“Show Off” by Bryson Gray, Tyson James, and The Marine Rapper rides the same wave as this Frequency Thursday - it’s bold, unapologetic, and refuses to shrink back just because people misunderstand, betray, or reject you for standing on Truth. As you listen, let it remind you that even when others try to dim your light or profit off your work in the shadows, your job is to keep “showing off” the goodness of God, letting your integrity and faith shine in both the 3D and the 5D.
