Monday Morning Grace - When Your Presence Is Misread as a Problem
This Monday Morning Grace is for when your presence is misread as a problem and Jericho-level walls of lies, jealousy, gossip, and false narratives rise against you. Instead of fighting dirty, you step aside, keep your light steady, and let God crack the walls wide open.
When They Misread Your Presence
Some weeks begin with the sting of being misunderstood.
You walk into rooms carrying peace, purpose, and a genuine desire to help, and somehow your very presence gets treated like a problem.
Not because you did something wrong, but because they never took the time - or had the spiritual maturity - to discern your purpose.
Instead of asking, “What is God doing through this person?” they default to, “How is this person a threat to our comfort, control, or narrative?”
That kind of misreading cuts deep, especially when it comes from people you believed were safe.
“For the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7 (KJV)
When others refuse to see your heart, God still does.
Their misperception does not cancel His intention for your life.
Calm Mind, Steady Light
If you sense you’re walking in a dark environment - where things feel off, motives are murky, and you may even be intentionally targeted - the wisest thing you can do is protect your mind first.
You keep your thoughts calm and balanced - take every thought captive.
You refuse to internalize their chaos as your identity.
You keep shining your light - your authenticity, your kindness, your discernment, your truth.
But here’s the boundary: if the darkness around you refuses to respect your position, your calling, or your humanity, it’s time to move.
You are not obligated to stay in spaces that despise what God placed in you.
“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
John 1:5 (KJV)
Your job is to shine.
Their job is to deal with what your light reveals.
When Love Smiles in Your Face and Lies Behind Your Back
One of the hardest pills to swallow is realizing that the people you love and trust -those who claimed to care, support, and champion you - might be the ones spinning false narratives behind the scenes.
They smile in your face, but their words behind closed doors tell a different story.
In those moments, the safest and healthiest thing you can do is step back.
Not because you’re weak, but because you value your sanity, your spirit, and your future more than proximity to people who won’t stand on truth.
You step out of the way and let Divine Correction do what only God can do.
“It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”
Psalm 118:8 (KJV)
When their loyalty collapses, you lean harder into God’s.
He is not double‑minded about you.
Targeted on Purpose, Not by Accident
If you are targeted, understand this: it isn’t random.
There is something in you - your integrity, your influence, your anointing, your refusal to play dirty - that agitates people who are comfortable in compromise.
Sometimes it really is the ones who said, “I love you,” “I’ve got you,” or “We’re a team.”
People who lack self‑respect will often step on anyone to fit in with others who also don’t respect themselves.
Add large amounts of money, status, or opportunity into the equation, and suddenly you see where people’s true allegiances lie.
You will get sold out.
You will be betrayed.
And as painful as that is, you must learn to be okay with releasing those people to their choices.
“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV)
Many will pierce themselves for a check or a seat at the table.
You are called to guard your soul, not your image in their eyes.
Monday Morning Grace Practice - Stepping Back Without Shrinking
As you step into this new week, here are some gentle ways to hold your peace when your presence has been misread:
- Call it what it is before God.
In prayer, name the betrayal, the false narratives, the targeting. You don’t have to downplay it with Him. - Refuse to argue with lies.
You are not required to chase every rumor. Let your consistent character and God’s timing do the talking. - Create distance where respect is absent.
Love from afar if you must. Boundaries are not vengeance; they are wisdom. - Ask God to clarify your assignment.
Pray: “Show me where my presence is wanted and needed. Redirect me to people and spaces that honor what You’ve placed in me.” - Bless yourself with truth.
Say aloud: “My presence is not a problem; it is a purpose. If you can’t discern it, that’s your limitation, not my identity.”
Closing Whisper
God,
This Monday morning, I bring You the heaviness of being misread.
You see the spaces where my presence has been treated like a threat instead of a blessing, where people refused to discern my purpose but felt very free to judge my existence.
You know every false narrative spun behind closed doors, every smile that hid betrayal, every room where I’ve been discussed instead of defended.
You see how money, fear, and insecurity have twisted hearts and turned some who claimed to love me into participants in the targeting.
Today, I choose grace - for myself first.
I choose a calm, balanced mind.
I choose to keep shining the light You placed in me, without apology and without shrinking to make darkness comfortable.
Where my presence is not honored, give me courage to step away.
Keep me safe until Divine Correction has done its work.
Heal the sting of betrayal, guard my heart from bitterness, and remind me that being targeted is often confirmation that heaven has marked me for more.
Lead me into rooms where my purpose is recognized,
into relationships built on truth,
and into a week grounded in the unshakable reality that You have correctly discerned me from the beginning.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
You are not behind... you are not lost... just keep transmuting.

🎧 Frequency Feature: Jericho
“Jericho” is the perfect frequency feature for this Monday Morning Grace because it captures what happens when God deals with walls people built around lies, money, and manipulation. As you keep your mind calm, hold your position in the Light, and step out of the way, this track reminds you that you don’t have to force anything - God is fully capable of bringing down the Jericho‑walls around you, no matter who misread your presence or tried to box in your purpose.

Your Journey Starts Here
Many have asked during my TikTok Lives how to begin their personal or spiritual journey. So far, I've explored and mapped the first three stages for those seeking alignment - the awakening, the journey inward, and the path forward.
These stages have brought profound clarity, and I'm grateful to share what I've discovered along the way.
There are still a few details unfolding, but trust that everything is aligning in its own time - and you'll be the first to know when it's ready.
Remember, this is love being transmuted into art; growth takes time, and you can't rush an actual journey, beautiful souls. In due time, all the right energy falls into place. Just have faith. Hold the vision.
