Sacred Saturday: Job, Spiritual Warfare, and the Heart of a Lion

Sacred Saturday is my pause in the middle of a spiritual battlefield. Like Job, I’m choosing to trust God when I don’t understand, raise the frequency of my life in love, and keep a lion-hearted faith even when the enemy presses in from every side.

Sacred Saturday: Job, Spiritual Warfare, and the Heart of a Lion
A Sacred Saturday moment: a woman prays in warm golden light, eyes closed and hands together, resting in God’s presence in the middle of an unseen spiritual battle.

If Job’s story feels a little too close to home right now, take a breath. The same God who held him through unspeakable loss is still holding every hidden chapter of your own.

There are days when Job’s story feels less like an ancient text and more like a mirror.
Loss, confusion, betrayal, and spiritual pressure all pile up at once, and I find myself asking, “Why God?”

One of those “why God?” moments for me has been the connection with a divine counterpart.
With the gifts God has given me and my ability to read energy, there is no doubt in my mind that this connection was a soul contract written in the stars. Even though I have healed and moved past it, I still wonder how and why she wasn’t strong enough to see through the very manipulation I was trying to highlight for her.

If she hasn’t seen it by now, it feels like the enemy has lured her straight into the trap that was laid - likely through a job or opportunity that looked good on the surface.
I pray she will, like me, one day find healing deep enough to move past the attacks on spirit and remember who she really is in God.

Job’s cry becomes my own:

“Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.”
Job 13:15 (NKJV)

Even when I don’t understand the storyline, I choose trust over bitterness.

Seeing the Battle for What It Is

With so much darkness being exposed in the world, it is getting harder to pretend that what we are facing is just bad luck.
From corruption and exploitation to spiritual manipulation and coordinated attacks on people’s minds and lives, it’s clear that we are in a very real spiritual battle.

Job’s story pulls back the curtain and shows that the enemy wasn’t just after his stuff; he was after his trust, his worship, and his witness.
In the same way, the pressure in my life isn’t just about circumstances - it’s about trying to pull me away from the calling and connection God placed on my life.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)

Naming the battle for what it is helps me stop fighting people and start standing firm in the Spirit.

Raising the Frequency of Earth: Love in Motion

Raising the frequency of Earth isn’t just a poetic phrase for me - it’s a daily assignment.
It looks like showing unconditional love to people in my everyday life, not only in my thoughts but in my routines, decisions, and relationships with everyone I encounter.

It means choosing to lead by example and live a life, both in public and in private, that people can look up to and genuinely aspire to.
The change starts with each of us individually - heart by heart, house by house -and then spreads like wildfire.

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
1 Peter 4:8 (NIV)

When I choose deep, consistent love instead of cynicism or revenge, I’m not just protecting my own spirit - I’m helping to shift the atmosphere around me.

Sacred Saturday Rest: The Heart of a Lion

This season has taught me that having the heart of a lion doesn’t mean I never feel fear - it means I refuse to let fear have the final say.
For me, the heart of a lion means always choosing faith over fear regardless of my external circumstances and always pushing forward, even when I feel outnumbered or misunderstood.

Sacred Saturday rest, then, isn’t passive.
It’s like a lion lying down in the middle of a battlefield - not because the fight is over, but because I know who I am and who my God is, and I refuse to surrender my calling, my sobriety, or my compassion.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

Courage for me is not the absence of pain; it’s the decision to keep following Jesus anyway.

Sacred Saturday Practices for This Week

Here are some gentle practices I’m leaning into this Sacred Saturday:

  • Job & My Story
I read a small portion of Job (chapters 1-2 or 38-42) and ask, “Where does this feel like my story right now? What is God revealing about Himself in my situation?”
  • Lion-Hearted Prayer
I pray: “Lord, give me the heart of a lion - soft toward You, steady in love, and fierce against darkness. Help me choose faith over fear today.”
  • Love in Action
I look for one concrete way to show unconditional love: a message of encouragement, a quiet prayer for someone who hurt me, or an act of service no one sees.
  • Frequency Check
I inventory my influences and ask, “Is this lowering or raising the frequency of my heart?” I swap one source of negativity for worship, Scripture, or silence with God.

Sacred Saturday Prayer

God,

On this Sacred Saturday, I bring You my whole heart - the mess, the questions, the warfare, and the quiet hope that refuses to die.
Like Job, I don’t always understand why things have unfolded the way they have, but I choose to trust that You see every detail and that nothing has slipped past Your eyes.

Thank You for protecting my spirit when the attacks have felt relentless.
Thank You for the divine connections You’ve allowed, even when some have been twisted by manipulation, fear, or compromise.
I lift up every person who has been caught in the enemy’s web, including my divine counterpart, and I ask that You flood them with truth, clarity, and deep healing in Your perfect timing.

Teach me to see this season as part of a much bigger spiritual story, not just a series of random events.
Remind me that I’m not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces that are already defeated at the cross.
Guard my mind from paranoia and my heart from bitterness, and help me discern the difference between holy warning and fear-based thinking.

Jesus, give me the heart of a lion - gentle toward You, fierce against darkness, and unwilling to surrender my faith, my sobriety, or my calling.
When I feel tired, help me rest in You without giving up.
When I feel angry, help me process honestly with You instead of acting out of revenge.
When I feel alone, remind me that heaven is closer than the attacks around me.

Show me how to raise the frequency of the spaces I walk into.
Teach me to choose love over hatred, blessing over cursing, and truth over performance.
Let my thoughts, words, and daily routines reflect Your presence so clearly that the atmosphere shifts - at home, online, at the store, and everywhere I go.

Today, I lay my questions at Your feet: the betrayals, the red flags, the “why God?” moments I still don’t fully understand.
I release the need to control every outcome, and I ask You to redeem what the enemy meant for evil.
Use my story to strengthen others who feel like Job right now - confused, attacked, but still reaching for You.

Thank You that You are the God who restores, the God who vindicates, and the God who stays.
Teach me to rest in that truth today, even in the middle of the battle.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Sacred Saturday isn’t about pretending the battle isn’t real.
It’s about resting in the truth that, like Job, I am held by a God who sees the whole story - and choosing, with a lion’s heart, to keep loving, keep trusting, and keep lifting the frequency of the world around me.

“The enemy may circle, accuse, and confuse, but I was born for this battle. With the heart of a lion and my eyes on Jesus, I will raise the frequency in love and refuse to ever surrender.”

With truth, courage, and grace,
Eugene 💘

Your Journey Starts Here

Many have asked during my TikTok Lives how to begin their personal or spiritual journey. So far, I've explored and mapped the first three stages for those seeking alignment - the awakening, the journey inward, and the path forward.

These stages have brought profound clarity, and I'm grateful to share what I've discovered along the way.

There are still a few details unfolding, but trust that everything is aligning in its own time - and you'll be the first to know when it's ready.

Remember, this is self-love being transmuted into art; growth takes time, and you can't rush an actual journey, beautiful souls. In due time, all the right energy falls into place. Just have faith. Hold the vision.
