Sacred Saturday: Resting Inside the Column of Light
Yesterday I left you standing inside the column of Heaven-light, walking through a world on fire. Today, sit down inside of it. Sacred Saturday for the chosen and beloved who finally understand that rest is not retreat - rest is residency. πποΈ
Whisper:
"Sit down, beloved. Not because the fight is over - because the fight is Mine. The column of light around you is not a moment, it is a dwelling. Stay. Rest. Breathe. I will keep the flames where they belong, and the smoke will not reach your lungs. You are inside the only safe place in the world."
Beautiful Beloved Souls,
Yesterday I left you standing inside the column of Heaven-light, walking through a world on fire behind the Shepherd.
The sheep were beside you. The dove was leading the way. The King and Queen were in step. The column of glory was bright enough to keep the smoke from crossing - and the path ahead of you was paved in gold light even as the rest of the world simmered in ash.
Today, I want you to do something radical with that column.
Sit down inside of it.
Not pause. Not catch your breath. Not regroup to keep marching.
Sit. Down.
Because what most of us have not learned yet is that the column of light Heaven draws around a chosen and beloved soul is not a moment. It is a dwelling. It is not just protection while you walk - it is a home you are allowed to live inside.
This Sacred Saturday is your invitation to stop treating Heaven's protection like a hallway and start treating it like a room.
Because rest is not retreat.
Rest is residency.
The Column Was Never Meant To Be Temporary
Read this slowly:
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty."
- Psalm 91:1, NIV
The word is dwells. Not visits. Not stops by. Not survives. Dwells.
Heaven did not build the column of glory around you so you could keep moving through it apologetically. He built it so you could unpack inside it. Set down a chair. Pour yourself something warm. Take off the armor for an afternoon. Sit with Him in the middle of a world that is still burning and remember that the burning is not your assignment to put out.
"I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"
- Psalm 91:2, NIV
Refuges are not rest stops. Fortresses are not airbnbs. Both words describe places you are meant to live.
So today the question is not, "How do I keep going?"
Today the question is, "What does it look like to finally stay?"
Let's look at four movements of sacred rest that turn protection into residency.
Movement #1: Rest That Doesn't Apologize
If you grew up in a culture that worshipped productivity, the first thing you need to do today is stop apologizing for stopping.
You do not need a list of accomplishments to justify your Sabbath. You do not need a finished to-do list to earn permission to breathe. You do not need to prove that you "deserve" rest by exhausting yourself first. Rest is not a reward. Rest is a commandment.
"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God."
- Exodus 20:8β10, NIV
Heaven did not phrase rest as a suggestion. He carved it into stone alongside "do not murder" and "do not steal." That should tell you everything about how serious He is when He tells you to stop.
Beloved, you are not lazy.
You are obedient.
You are doing the one thing the world will never affirm and the one thing your soul has always needed.
Movement #2: Rest That Doesn't Strategize
There is a kind of resting that is not actually resting.
It is the kind where your body is on the couch but your mind is rehearsing the conversation. The kind where the candles are lit but the case file is still open. The kind where you stopped working but you cannot stop managing - managing the storyline, managing the explanation, managing the next move, managing the people who hurt you, managing the assignment, managing your own image.
Sacred Saturday is for putting the case file down.
"In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it."
- Isaiah 30:15, NIV
"Be still, and know that I am Godβ¦"
- Psalm 46:10, NIV
The clowns from Tuesday do not need to be re-named today. The masks from Wednesday do not need to be re-inspected. The follow audit from Friday does not need to be re-checked. Heaven is not asking you to keep proofreading the week.
He is asking you to trust it.
The strategizing version of you served you well in the storm. But he/she does not get to keep the chair on Sabbath. Today, the chair belongs to the version of you that trusts.
Movement #3: Rest That Doesn't Perform
There is a deep kind of exhaustion that only comes from performing for people who were never really watching for you - they were only watching for the version of you that kept them comfortable.
You did not realize how tired you were until the room cleared.
That is okay. That is holy.
Sacred Saturday is a day where you do not have to perform for anyone. Not for the people who mistook your softness for permission. Not for the people who needed your gifts but never honored the giver. Not for the people who tracked your every move like a case study. And - hear this carefully - not for God either.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
- Matthew 11:28β30, NIV
Heaven is not waiting for you to perform for Him today. He has watched you carry too much for too long. The yoke He hands you is the easy one. The burden He hands you is the light one. And the rest He hands you does not require an audition.
You can drop the performance.
The audience that mattered already loves you.
Movement #4: Rest That Dwells
Here is where Sacred Saturday becomes more than just a day off.
The deepest form of rest is not what you do on the seventh day. The deepest form of rest is what you decide to live inside every day after that.
"My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
- Exodus 33:14, NIV
"There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from their worksβ¦"
- Hebrews 4:9β10, NIV
"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul."
- Psalm 23:1β3, NIV
Notice the verbs: makes me lie down⦠leads me⦠refreshes my soul. Rest is not something you produce. It is something you are led into.
So today, beloved, do not just take a Sabbath.
Move in.
Set up a chair inside the column of light. Hang up a coat. Bring your favorite mug. Let the room start to feel familiar. Because everything that has happened this week - the rising on Monday, the unmasking on Tuesday, the unveiling on Wednesday, the frequency restoration on Thursday, the follow audit on Friday - has all been Heaven preparing you to dwell.
The column was never a corridor.
It was always a home.
Whisper:
"Stay seated, beloved. You do not owe anyone movement today - not even Me. The column of light around you is not a moment, it is a dwelling. The flames are not yours to fight. The smoke is not yours to inhale. The case file is closed. The audit is finished. The voice is restored. The Shepherd is steady. And the room I built inside the storm has your name carved into the door. The clowns retreated. The masks fell. The mirror unveiled. The frequency restored. The follow realigned. And now - finally - the chosen and beloved one I have been chasing all week sits down inside the only safe place in the world and lets Me love him/her without interruption. Welcome home. Stay as long as you want. I am not in a hurry, and neither are you."

FREQUENCY FEATURE πΆ
π΅ "Many Men (Wish Death)" - 50 Cent
Listener note: This week's frequency feature carries explicit language and themes of survival from real-life violence. If that's not your lane today, skip the song and stay in the column with the scripture below - the message still lands.
Today's frequency is for the chosen and beloved who have lived through things most people only watch in movies - and who are finally learning what it means to sit down inside the protection God built around them.
Here is the part no one ever says out loud about this song: when you strip away the production and the persona, "Many Men" is one of the rawest modern psalms in recent music. It is the testimony of a man who survived nine bullets - nine - and lived to write his own Psalm 3 over it. "How many are my foes! How many rise up against me!" David wrote that three thousand years ago while running for his life from his own son. 50 Cent wrote his version after lying on the pavement bleeding out from a hit that was supposed to end his story. Different centuries. Same frequency.
"Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! Many are saying of me, 'God will not deliver him.' But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high."
- Psalm 3:1β3, NIV
Beloved, if you have ever felt like many men - or many women, many family members, many co-workers, many "Kingdom builders," many strangers in rooms you weren't even in - were quietly wishing you would just stop⦠stop rising, stop speaking, stop succeeding, stop existing the way Heaven made you to exist⦠then this song is sitting on a frequency your spirit already recognizes. You don't have to like the genre to hear the testimony underneath it: "In spite of all of that, I am still here. I am still breathing. I am still standing. I am still chosen. I am still beloved."
That is Sacred Saturday energy in its most unfiltered form. Because the whole point of resting inside the column of light is not that the bullets stopped flying - it is that they could not reach you.
"A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you⦠For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."
- Psalm 91:7, 11, NIV
"No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me, declares the Lord."
- Isaiah 54:17, NIV
Many men may have wished it. But Many men did not have the final word over your life. Heaven did. And Heaven still does. The column of glory you have been walking inside of this whole week is not symbolic - it is the literal answer to every silent assassination attempt on your name, your peace, your assignment, and your destiny that you have survived without ever giving the enemy the satisfaction of seeing you flinch.
So press play if your spirit can carry the rawness. Sit inside the column. Let the beat be the heartbeat of a chosen one who should not still be here - and yet undeniably is. Let the hook be the soundtrack of a soul who finally understands that surviving was never the goal. Dwelling is.
Many men wished it.
Heaven wrote a different ending.
And tonight, you sit inside that ending and rest. πποΈ
Press play if you can. Skip and stay in Psalm 3 if you cannot. Either way - you are still here. And that is the testimony.
Every word is a whisper of intention, carved in stillness and light.

Your Journey Starts Here
Many have asked during my TikTok Lives how to begin their personal or spiritual journey. So far, I've explored and mapped the first three stages for those seeking alignment - the awakening, the journey inward, and the path forward.
These stages have brought profound clarity, and I'm grateful to share what I've discovered along the way.
There are still a few details unfolding, but trust that everything is aligning in its own time - and you'll be the first to know when it's ready.
Remember, this is love being transmuted into art; growth takes time, and you can't rush an actual journey, beautiful souls. In due time, all the right energy falls into place. Just have faith. Hold the vision. When people stop messing around we shall continue... just hold the Faith and keep the Vision.
