Sacred Saturday: When the Patterns Don’t Add Up

This Sacred Saturday is about noticing when the patterns around you don’t add up. You don’t become a target for being harmless - you become one for being a threat. Trust your discernment, protect your peace, and do what’s best for your soul, even if that means stepping away.

Sacred Saturday: When the Patterns Don’t Add Up
Sacred Saturday - a grounded, radiant woman stands calm amid a web of puppet strings, invisible hands, and manipulated silhouettes, severing the strings with her light and facing a doorway of dawn and peace.

Beautiful souls,

If you’ve been sensing that the patterns around you don’t quite add up, this Sacred Saturday is your permission to slow down, rest, and honor what your spirit already knows. You are allowed to step back until things make sense.

You don’t become a target for being harmless

Let’s start with a truth worth resting in:
You don’t become a target for being weak, small, or harmless.

You become a target when you’re perceived as a threat.

A threat to control.
A threat to an agenda.
A threat to people who only feel powerful when everyone around them stays predictable and easy to manage.

So if you’ve found yourself strangely targeted, misunderstood, or surrounded by people acting out of fear, consider this: it may not be because something is wrong with you. It may be because something is right, powerful, and free in you that couldn’t be controlled.

“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.”

Noticing when the patterns don’t add up

Sacred Saturday is a day for reflection, and reflection means being honest about patterns.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is notice when things simply aren’t adding up.

When the timing is too strange.
When the “coincidences” stack too high.
When the people around you shift in ways that don’t make sense.

You don’t have to have all the answers to trust your discernment. And you are allowed to do what is best for you at the end of the day - even if that means stepping away until things make sense again.

“The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.”
Proverbs 22:3
Proverbs 22:3 on Bible Gateway

Stepping back is not weakness.
Sometimes it’s the wisest, most self-honoring move you can make.

Love blossoming in a controlled world

I was in a season where love was blossoming - and yet it seemed like all the connections around me were being controlled or manipulated.

Can you imagine being madly in love with someone, knowing it was reciprocated, and not being able to do anything about it?

How strange it is to watch someone go from your biggest supporter to your biggest stranger, while knowing there are invisible hands at play, intentionally manipulating the people in your life.

That kind of grief is hard to put into words:
Being two seconds away from planning a life with the person of your dreams - only to realize they were being controlled by people you once looked up to.

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”
Proverbs 13:12
Proverbs 13:12 on Bible Gateway

If your heart has been made sick by hope deferred, Sacred Saturday gives you permission to grieve it honestly before God.

The strange silence

It’s an odd feeling, knowing the weight of who is involved in your story - and knowing some of them are choosing to perpetuate harm rather than tell the truth.

And maybe the strangest part of all is this: simply wanting to know if the person who was targeted right alongside you is okay - and getting nothing but silence in return.

That silence is its own kind of ache.

“How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?”
Psalm 13:1
Psalm 13:1–2 on Bible Gateway

Even David sat in the silence and asked, “How long?”
You are in holy company when you bring that question to God instead of pretending it doesn’t hurt.

Doing what is best for you

Here is the Sacred Saturday invitation:

When the patterns don’t add up, and the invisible hands are pulling strings you can’t control, you are allowed to protect your peace.

  • You can love someone and still step back for your own well-being.
  • You can grieve what was interfered with and still refuse to let it destroy you.
  • You can keep asking for the truth while choosing rest over obsession.

At the end of the day, you can only walk your journey.
You can pray for the ones being controlled, but you cannot live inside a puppet show and call it peace.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Frequency Feature: “Jealous” - Nick Jonas

This week’s frequency feature is “Jealous” by Nick Jonas - a smooth, honest anthem about loving someone deeply and feeling the ache when outside forces get too close to what your heart is holding onto.

For a Sacred Saturday about love blossoming in a world that felt controlled and manipulated, “Jealous” carries that bittersweet frequency. It’s the sound of caring so much about a connection that you notice every hand reaching toward it - every string being pulled to keep two people apart.

Let it play while you reflect. Let it remind you that longing for someone, and wanting to protect what’s real, is deeply human. Even when invisible hands try to interfere, the love you carry is still yours - and God sees exactly who and what was standing in the way.

A Sacred Saturday practice

To ground this day of rest and reflection, try this:

  1. Name one pattern that isn’t adding up.
Write it down without judging yourself. Just acknowledge what your spirit is noticing.
  2. Give yourself permission to step back.
Say: “I am allowed to protect my peace until things make sense.”
  3. Grieve what was interfered with.
Light a candle, journal, or simply sit with God and name the love, the connection, or the future that was disrupted.
  4. Release what you cannot control.
Pray: “God, I can’t control the invisible hands or the silence. I hand it to You. Guard the one who was targeted alongside me, and guard my own heart and mind.”

“You were never targeted for being harmless - you were seen as a threat because you’re free. Trust your discernment, honor what doesn’t add up, and do what’s best for your soul. Rest tonight knowing God sees every invisible hand, hears every silence, and still holds your story.”

Your Journey Starts Here

Many have asked during my TikTok Lives how to begin their personal or spiritual journey. So far, I've explored and mapped the first three stages for those seeking alignment - the awakening, the journey inward, and the path forward.

These stages have brought profound clarity, and I'm grateful to share what I've discovered along the way.

There are still a few details unfolding, but trust that everything is aligning in its own time - and you'll be the first to know when it's ready.

Remember, this is love being transmuted into art; growth takes time, and you can't rush an actual journey, beautiful souls. In due time, all the right energy falls into place. Just have faith. Hold the vision. Always.
