Sunday Soul Food - Standing Firm in a Shaking World

This Sunday Soul Food reflects on expressing your faith freely, feeling hunted for your dreams, and still choosing faith over fear. Even when people move funny or stay silent, you’re invited to ground your week in gratitude, God’s whisper, and the belief that tomorrow can be brighter.

Sunday Soul Food - Standing Firm in a Shaking World
Sunday Soul Food: choosing faith over fear in a neon-lit world that doesn’t always understand your calling.

One of the quiet blessings of living in the United States is that you are allowed to express your faith and your viewpoint and we have an administration who will stand 10 toes down in letting you do just that. One Nation Under God.
I can say “I believe God carried me through this” out loud, and that’s protected.
In a world where uncertainty, fear, and noise seem louder than ever, that freedom is no small thing.

I can still thank God for the gift of life itself - even in the middle of trouble, confusion, and spiritual warfare.
I can still manifest the best‑case scenario for myself while trusting that God’s plan is bigger than anything I see right now.

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)

Gratitude doesn’t mean you approve of what happened.
It means you acknowledge God’s hand is still on your life despite it.

Isolation Before Overwhelm

There are seasons when God tucks you away.
You might call it isolation, the dark night, or just “nothing is moving,” but in the Spirit it’s often a loading season.
Silence stretches, routines shift, and the phone doesn’t ring the way it used to.

Then, almost without warning, life can swing into the opposite extreme: busy, visible, overwhelming.
If you’re someone who prefers to fly under the radar, that shift can be nerve‑wracking.
That’s why enjoying solitude while you have it matters - it becomes your training ground for what’s coming.

“And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while.”
Mark 6:31 (KJV)

Jesus Himself pulled the disciples away to rest.
Isolation is not always rejection; sometimes it is protection and preparation.

When Your Dreams Make You a Target

Now, let’s be honest about the pain.
Can you imagine the feeling of watching your own dreams play out in front of you - and being targeted/hunted for it?
That’s exactly what it felt like: as if I was put into an obstacle course, watched in real time, just to see how I would react to abuse that was deliberately aimed my way. While people knew this and kept silent.

It felt like the people around me were being manipulated into silence, like I became dangerous simply for existing in my calling.
I knew I wasn't a threat.
I knew I was a team player.
I knew there was no “dirt” to dig up because I have lived as an upstanding citizen, even if I haven’t always made perfect decisions. This isn't the first time I have felt targeted in life just awake enough to realize it.

“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
2 Timothy 3:12 (KJV)

Sometimes persecution doesn’t look like prison or physical harm.
Sometimes it looks like coordinated silence, manipulation, and a smear campaign against your character.

Disrespected, Misread, But Not Destroyed

The disrespect cut deep - not just what happened, but how it happened.
Everyone knew we were all on the same team.
Everyone knew what the ideal outcome was for everyone involved.
Yet instead of collaboration, I got games, half‑truths, and unspoken agendas.

It is an odd feeling to watch people you love be afraid of you and not understand why.
To watch the team you helped build shift from family to something that felt like a hostile crowd.
To feel not only forced out, but dragged through unnecessary BS on the way out.

But people aren’t blind.
They see who stayed consistent.
They see who took the cheap shots and who didn’t.

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.”
Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)

Weapons may form, but they don’t get the final word.
When your reputation has already been refined in the fire, you walk differently.

Living Through the Fire, Walking by the Whisper

You can’t tarnish a reputation that was built in Hell itself.
When you have walked through the fire and survived, it changes how you carry yourself.
You stop needing everyone to like you, and you start focusing on staying aligned with God’s whisper.

There will be times when it feels like someone is trying to control every aspect of your reality (projection/manipulation) - how people see you, how much you’re allowed to know, how much money you make, etc.
In those moments, the only way forward is to listen for that still, small voice and move with what you do know:

  • I am not a threat.
  • I am not anyone’s scapegoat.
  • I am allowed to be successful without sabotage.
“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”
Isaiah 30:21 (KJV)

When I don’t have enough information to make an informed decision, His whisper is enough to keep me moving.

Sunday Soul Food Practice - Grounding Your Week

To ground your week ahead, try this simple Sunday Soul Food practice:

  1. Affirm your freedom.
Write: “I am free to express my faith and my truth, and God honors that.”
  2. Name the wound.
One sentence only: “This week, I felt disrespected/controlled/hunted when _____.”
  3. Bless your character.
Speak over yourself: “I haven’t been perfect, but my character is solid. God knows my heart.”
  4. Release the need to be understood.
Pray: “God, let those who need to understand, understand. I release the rest.”
  5. Visualize a bright base‑case scenario.
Picture the most grounded, peaceful, love‑filled version of your life this week, and ask God to align your steps with that vision.

Closing Whisper

God,

Thank You that I can still speak Your name, share my faith, and tell my story.
Thank You that even in a world full of uncertainty and manipulation, the simple fact that I am alive today is proof that You are not finished with me.

You saw the games, the silence, the way my character was questioned while my heart stayed loyal.
You saw dreams unfolding and opposition rising at the same time.
You saw people I love looking at me with fear I did not earn.

Today, I ask You to ground me for the week ahead.
Let me enjoy the solitude You’ve given me, and prepare me for the seasons of overwhelm to come.
Guard my mind from overthinking, my heart from bitterness, and my steps from every trap set in secret.

Remind me that no one can control my reality more than You.
Break every chain of manipulation, cancel every plan meant to dim my light, and lead me into a future where I can walk freely in my calling without unnecessary interference.

I choose to believe that tomorrow will be a brighter day.
Not because people suddenly become perfect, but because You remain faithful, and because the fire I’ve walked through has only made me stronger in You.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

You are not behind... you are not lost... just keep transmuting.

EugeniasThought: Set your intentions and pray for what you want and balance your emotions in every state and just know the future is more beautiful than you could ever imagine - keep moving forward. We can't change the past but we can change the future.

Let it be known that I have never been in competition nor will I ever be in competition with anybody. I choose to live my life with purpose and love unconditionally. Also, do I need to ask permission before getting into relationships from whoever is trying to control me?

Despite my reaction to the situation I do hold Faith the size of a mustard seed that I didn't go what I went through for nothing. I can say that for an absolute fact. You can't come in and attack someone to that extent with the authorities all over it without a solution.

Beautiful Souls even when people shame, betray, and isolate you know that you are worth it and the most important thing you can do is love yourself because nobody else truly matters especially if you don't have communication from them. You are Free to go wherever God leads you 💘 some people aren't strong enough to hold you and that is OK it is a reflection of their character and the way their parents raised them. If they didn't learn the lesson needed they will have to repeat it. Keep moving forward but don't attach to outcomes because I can promise you that whatever God has for is better than you can imagine.

Every word is a whisper of intention, carved in stillness and light.

Your Journey Starts Here

Many have asked during my TikTok Lives how to begin their personal or spiritual journey. So far, I've explored and mapped the first three stages for those seeking alignment - the awakening, the journey inward, and the path forward.

These stages have brought profound clarity, and I'm grateful to share what I've discovered along the way.

There are still a few details unfolding, but trust that everything is aligning in its own time - and you'll be the first to know when it's ready.

Remember, this is love being transmuted into art; growth takes time, and you can't rush an actual journey, beautiful souls. In due time, all the right energy falls into place. Just have faith. Hold the vision.
