Truth Telling Tuesday: When Heaven Says “Forward”
This Truth Telling Tuesday image captures the moment after the hard conversations are over: speech bubbles with “I spoke my truth,” “released the burden,” and “healed” fade behind her while a bright path opens ahead. The past is heard; the future is calling.
“There is a holy moment, beloved, when Heaven stops asking you to explain what happened and starts asking you to look up. You have spoken the hard words, felt the deep feelings, and told the truth that used to choke you. You are not standing in the ruins anymore - you are standing at the edge of a road. Tonight, I am not asking you to re‑argue your past. I am asking you to let Me lead you into your future.”
Beautiful Beloved Souls,
There comes a moment in every healing story when Heaven quietly changes the subject.
Not because your pain no longer matters.
Not because your past was imaginary.
But because you’ve finally said what needed to be said, felt what needed to be felt, and God is now more interested in the future than the fallout.
Truth Telling Tuesday has walked you through some hard rooms - naming betrayal, confusion, hidden agendas, and the places your heart was lied to. You’ve spoken words you were never allowed to say out loud. You have transmuted raw emotion into honest prayer, essays, and boundaries.
Today’s truth is different:
It is time to stop building altars to what happened
and start building a future with the God who carried you through it.
Movement #1: You Told the Truth. Now What?
For a long time, your assignment was simple - tell the truth.
Tell the truth about what they did and what it did to you.
Tell the truth about how you actually felt, not just what sounded “mature.”
Tell the truth about your needs, wants, and non‑negotiables.
You did that.
Maybe not perfectly, but faithfully.
- You wrote the message.
- You had the hard conversation.
- You made it clear: “This is what I want. This is what I will not carry anymore.”
As far as it depends on you, your side of the street is swept.
The words that needed to be spoken to your past have been spoken.
Your wants and needs are no longer a mystery.
And yet.
There is a temptation to stay in that courtroom forever -
re‑litigating your own story,
re‑explaining what you meant,
re‑arguing with memories that cannot answer back.
Heaven interrupts that loop with a startling command:
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:18–19, NIV
Isaiah 43:18–19 on Bible Gateway
“Forget” here does not mean “pretend it never happened.”
It means stop living like your history is your only headline.
You have honored the past with truth.
Now Heaven is asking you to honor the future with attention.
Movement #2: Transmuted, Not Trapped
When you first started speaking, your emotions were heavy -
rage, grief, confusion, disappointment.
You could feel them in your chest, in your stomach, in your sleep schedule.
Over time - through prayer, writing, therapy, walking, worship -
something happened that language barely keeps up with:
You transmuted those emotions.
They did not vanish.
They changed form.
- Rage became clarity about what you will never tolerate again.
- Grief became compassion for others walking through similar storms.
- Confusion became discernment.
- Disappointment became data about where not to invest your light.
You are not carrying the same thing you were carrying last year.
And Heaven knows it.
Which is why Paul’s words hit different in this season:
“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 3:13–14, NIV
Philippians 3:13–14 on Bible Gateway
Notice the balance:
- “I have not fully arrived” - honesty.
- “But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind… I press on” - direction.
Truth Telling Tuesday has been your “I have not fully arrived” space.
Today it also becomes your “I press on” space.
You are allowed to say:
“I told the truth. I learned the lesson.
Now I am building something new with God.”
Movement #3: When Trust Becomes Your New Truth
For a long time, your truth sounded like:
- “This hurt me.”
- “This scared me.”
- “This disappointed me.”
- “This almost destroyed me.”
Those were holy truths.
They needed to be named.
But there comes a day when Heaven gently upgrades your vocabulary to:
- “God kept me.”
- “God taught me.”
- “God is leading me.”
- “God is building something I can’t fully see yet.”
This is that day.
Truth Telling Tuesday now asks a different question:
Will you tell the truth about God’s faithfulness as loudly as you told the truth about their failure?
Will you give as much airtime to the way He is opening a way in the wilderness as you gave to the way they tried to shut you down?
Forward focus is not denial.
It is trust in motion.
And trust, in this season, might look like:
- Redirecting your mental energy from replaying old conversations to sketching out new assignments.
- Letting God handle how your words land with people and choosing to invest your time in the ones who are actually here.
- Choosing, on purpose, to talk more about where you’re going than where you’ve been.
You are not abandoning your story.
You are advancing it.
A Truth Telling Tuesday Practice: Facing Forward with God
If you’re ready to live this, here’s a simple practice for this week:
- Close the file.
Write the name of the situation, person, or season you’ve been processing on a piece of paper or in your notes app. Under it, write:
“The truth has been spoken. My needs are known. I now release the outcome to God.”
Take a breath. Close the journal or lock the note. - Name the new thing.
Ask God: “What ‘new thing’ are You inviting me to build or focus on now?”
It might be: your business, your health, your art, your rest, your friendships, your ministry. Write down one area you sense Him highlighting.
(Isaiah 43:18–19, NIV) - Take one forward‑facing action.
Do something that has nothing to do with re‑explaining the past and everything to do with building the future:- Start the outline.
- Send the email to the new connection.
- Research the thing you’ve been too scared to claim.
- Rest on purpose so you have energy for what’s ahead.
- Pray Philippians 3 over your mindset.
Whisper:
“Jesus, I have not fully arrived, but today I choose to forget what is behind and strain toward what is ahead with You. Help me press on.”
(Philippians 3:13–14, NIV)
Let this be the week your energy shifts from proving your pain to partnering with God’s plan.
Frequency Feature: “Play That Song” - Train
Tonight’s frequency feature is “Play That Song” by Train, a bright, throwback‑style pop track built on the classic “Heart and Soul” melody. It’s all about asking the DJ to play the one song that instantly brings a favorite person to mind, turning memories into a reason to move, smile, and sing along.
As you listen, notice what rises in your heart - who you think of, what you remember, and how God might be using a simple catchy song to call you back to joy, connection, and gratitude.
Whisper: When Heaven Changes the Subject
“You have defended yourself long enough, beloved. You have told the truth, cried the tears, and stood your ground. I heard every word you spoke into the past, and I will handle what you cannot. Now I am asking you to lift your eyes. There is a road in front of you that does not require you to keep turning around to explain why you are walking it. You did not imagine your healing. You did not manufacture this readiness. I have been transmuting your pain into wisdom the whole time. Take My hand. Let Me be the One who talks to your yesterday while you and I build your tomorrow.”

Your Journey Starts Here
Many have asked during my TikTok Lives how to begin their personal or spiritual journey. So far, I've explored and mapped the first three stages for those seeking alignment - the awakening, the journey inward, and the path forward.
These stages have brought profound clarity, and I'm grateful to share what I've discovered along the way.
There are still a few details unfolding, but trust that everything is aligning in its own time - and you'll be the first to know when it's ready.
Remember, this is love being transmuted into art; growth takes time, and you can't rush an actual journey, beautiful souls. In due time, all the right energy falls into place. Just have faith. Hold the vision.
