Truth-Telling Tuesday - When the Math Doesn’t Math

Truth-Telling Tuesday shares what it feels like when your world flips, everyone is scared, and no one will tell you the truth. This week’s reflection is for the ones who walked away from confusion with their integrity intact.

Truth-Telling Tuesday - When the Math Doesn’t Math
Truth-Telling Tuesday: a strong, solitary man stands in the rainlit city night, facing confusion with courage and uncompromising truth.

TL;DR – Truth-Telling Tuesday
Today’s Truth-Telling Tuesday is about telling the truth of what it feels like when your life gets flipped upside down, everyone around you is clearly scared, and yet nobody will be honest with you. It’s about living through a season where your love life, work life, and home life are all under pressure at the same time - and being left to connect the dots with no information, just vibes. This is for the ones who had to walk away without closure, still trusting that God sees what people hide and will bring the truth into the light.

When Your World Flips Overnight

There is a kind of discomfort that lives deeper than a bad day.
It’s when your world gets suddenly turned upside down and you can feel fear and anxiety dripping off everyone around you, but not a single person will speak to you straight.
Your home life is under pressure, your work life is off the rails, and the people who used to be loud in your group chats suddenly go quiet when you start asking real questions.

That’s the space I’ve been living in.
I watched people wearing their emotions on their sleeves - panic in their eyes, tension in their shoulders - while their mouths kept saying, “Everything’s fine.”
Meanwhile, nothing about the energy matched “fine.”

“For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest;
neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.”

Luke 8:17 (KJV)

God has already promised: secrets have an expiration date.

When Love, Work, and Home Are All Hit at Once

Here is the part that still blows my mind: it wasn’t just one area of life.
My love life, my work life, and my home life all started feeling targeted at the exact same time - what are the odds?
Imagine waking up every day knowing something is clearly wrong, feeling like you are in harm’s way, but having no idea what is happening around you because nobody will put their cards on the table.

I took a timeout.
I stepped back.
I asked questions.
And still - not a single soul could or would help me understand why people were moving the way they were around me and projecting so much.
That level of silence is its own kind of violence. (The silent treatment is abuse and a form of emotional manipulation)

“The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.”

Psalm 34:17 (KJV)

You don’t have to have the full story for God to hear the sound of your life falling apart.

When You Walk Away and Things Get Louder

On the work side, we sold digital marketing for the Lawn & Landscape industry.
We were not laundering money, running guns, or doing anything illegal.
Yet people started moving around me like we were running a cartel instead of a CRM and some ad campaigns.

When I couldn’t get straight answers - no clarity, just chaos - I finally did the only sane thing I could do: I walked away.
I removed myself from an environment where my questions were treated like a threat instead of an invitation to get on the same page.
And that’s when the threats started.
After I left.

Make that make sense.
If we were all on the same team and everything was allegedly above board, why was it easier to let me twist in confusion than to sit down and explain what was actually going on?
Why did it feel safer to let me feel crazy than to tell me the truth? (This question is for everyone involved)

“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace,
as in all churches of the saints.”

1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV)

Where there is constant confusion, manufactured silence, and intimidation, it is not the Spirit of God running the room.

When You’re Surrounded but Not Supported

One of the hardest parts of this season has been knowing I was surrounded by people… but not supported by them. (That is the way it feels/felt)
To feel that everyone around you is scared, that something isn’t right, that conversations are happening behind closed doors, and still no one will look you in the eye and say, “Here is what’s really going on.”

Can you imagine having to wake up and live that reality for months?
To sense danger but not be trusted with information?
To feel like the only person not in on the secret about your own life?

If you’ve lived something similar, I want you to hear this clearly:

  • You are not crazy for noticing the shift in energy.
  • You are not dramatic for asking questions.
  • You are not disloyal for walking away from a place that refused to treat you with basic honesty.

God saw every email, every side conversation, every meeting you were excluded from.
Nothing about your confusion cancels His clarity.

“The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth;
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.”

Psalm 34:17 (KJV)

You might not know why they moved the way they did, but God does - and He knows how to deliver you on time.

Truth-Telling as an Act of Faith

Telling this story is not about rehashing drama; it’s an act of faith.
It’s saying:
“I don’t have all the answers, the math still doesn’t math, but I refuse to gaslight myself just because other people won’t tell the truth.”

Living faith boldly in a season like this looks like:

  • Admitting that things felt unsafe, even if you can’t fully explain why.
  • Acknowledging that you were not given the courtesy of honesty, even after everything you poured in.
  • Choosing to believe that God will reveal what needs to be revealed, when it needs to be revealed, and that you don’t have to chase people down for closure.

Your job now is to keep your integrity intact, keep your discernment sharp, and keep your heart soft enough to hear God under the noise.
You can grieve the betrayal and still be excited about where He’s taking you next.

“For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest;
neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.”

Luke 8:17 (KJV)

Every unanswered question is sitting under a God who specializes in light.

“Even if no one around you will tell the truth, you are not crazy, and you are not alone. God saw it all, heard it all, and will reveal what needs to be known - right on time.”

🎧 Frequency Feature: Iris

“Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls is the perfect frequency feature for this Truth-Telling Tuesday because it captures that ache of feeling unseen and misunderstood while everything in you is screaming for truth. The song mirrors the tension of this season - wanting people to be real about what’s happening, yet realizing you may be the only one willing to stand fully in your own reality with God as your witness.

Your Journey Starts Here

Many have asked during my TikTok Lives how to begin their personal or spiritual journey. So far, I've explored and mapped the first three stages for those seeking alignment - the awakening, the journey inward, and the path forward.

These stages have brought profound clarity, and I'm grateful to share what I've discovered along the way.

There are still a few details unfolding, but trust that everything is aligning in its own time - and you'll be the first to know when it's ready.

Remember, this is love being transmuted into art; growth takes time, and you can't rush an actual journey, beautiful souls. In due time, all the right energy falls into place. Just have faith. Hold the vision.
