Sacred Saturday: One Year Ago, Before Heaven Opened

One year ago, I stood barefoot by a pond as hand drums played, and it felt like I was plugged into Source. What came after turned the pressure up by a thousand. This is a reflection on awakening, honesty, and remembering who you are.

Sacred Saturday: One Year Ago, Before Heaven Opened
Under a Florida night sky, the drums played, the stars fell, and the signal came through.

Beautiful Souls,

Today I want to do something different. Instead of looking ahead, I want to rewind the clock exactly one year and sit with you inside a moment I will never forget.

One year ago today, I recorded a video describing what I could only call my soul exploding. I had been on a quiet quest for months, diving inward into the places I had avoided for years. I was not trying to fix myself. I was trying to understand myself. Every memory that surfaced, I held it. Every wound that ached, I let it speak. Little by little, I was transmuting pain I simply could not wrap my head around.

What I did not know was that I was only two days away from the moment that would change everything.

Plugged Into Source

Two days later, I was standing barefoot in the grass next to the pond, grounding. Two kind neighbor ladies were playing ceremonial hand drums nearby, and the rhythm moved through the earth and up into my feet like a heartbeat I had forgotten I had.

Then something opened. The only way I can describe it is that I was plugged into Source. While those drums played, it felt like ancient text was scrolling through my mind. Constant downloads, one after another, faster than I could hold them. I honestly do not remember how long it lasted. What I remember is having to breathe. Just breathe, slow and steady, through every wave of it.

Eventually my body needed to come back to the ground. I sat down on top of my backpack right there by the water, trying to catch my breath and comprehend whatever in the world I had just experienced. What I now describe as the 5D had come into view. Heaven did not feel far away anymore. It felt close enough to touch.

When the Pressure Turned Up

Here is the part nobody warns you about. When light comes in, it does not only show you the beautiful things. It shows you everything.

After that day by the pond, it felt like the pressure in every area of my life turned up by a thousand. I felt like I had no privacy. The attention was constant and unwanted. I felt followed in public. There were moments on the road that looked like a scene from a community theatre production, with people reacting in ways I could not explain. I had never even heard the word gang stalking until that season.

I am not writing this to convince anyone of what happened or to point a finger at anyone. I am writing it because some of you have lived through a season where it felt like the whole world was watching you, and nobody was willing to tell you the truth. You know how disorienting that is.

The same light that was healing me also shone on the people around me. I watched how many chose to keep pushing rather than show care. I watched people position themselves for gain and control. I watched credit go everywhere except where it was due. At times it felt like my home life and my work life were at war with each other, and I was standing right in the middle, still trying to show up with unconditional love.

When You Need Just One Honest Person

I did not need everyone to understand me. I needed one person to be honest with me. Just one.

When that one person does not come, you learn something sacred. Your alignment cannot depend on anyone else's honesty. You keep moving forward. You keep transmuting. You keep showing up as your authentic self, even when the room does not reward you for it.

Joseph understood this. Betrayed by the people closest to him, he could still say:

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good." (Genesis 50:20)

He did not pretend the harm was not real. He simply refused to let it have the final word.

It Is a Remembering

One year later, here is what I know.

This was never about becoming someone new. It was about remembering who I was before the world taught me to shrink, to stay quiet, and to accept less than the truth. The awakening was not an escape from my life. It was a return to my soul.

And everything, even the confusing parts, has been working out in my favor.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

Your Sacred Saturday Practice

Rewind your own clock. Find a quiet place, and if you can, stand barefoot on the earth for a few minutes. Breathe slowly. Then ask yourself:

  1. Where was I one year ago today, and what was I carrying?
  2. What has the light revealed to me since then, about myself and about others?
  3. What am I remembering about who I really am?

Write down whatever comes. Just honor how far you have come.

Note from Eugenia

If you are in the middle of your own strange season right now, I see you. You are not crazy for wanting honesty. You are not wrong for loving people who did not love you back the same way. When it all feels like too much, do what I did by that pond. Sit down, breathe, and let the ground hold you. You will look back one day, just like I am today, and realize it was all leading you home.

Frequency Feature: "Graves Into Gardens" by Elevation Worship

This song carries the heart of this past year. God takes what was meant to bury us and turns it into something that grows. Let it play as you reflect, and let it remind you that nothing you survived was wasted.

It is a remembering. And it is all working out in your favor.
