Follow Friday: Follow Your Frequency to Your Real Ones

This Follow Friday is about following your frequency home to your real ones. You don’t have to chase what’s truly yours - guard your heart, tune beneath the noise, and trust that your real ones will feel the signal. And when the circle gets small, God still leads the way.

Follow Friday: Follow Your Frequency to Your Real Ones
Follow Friday - a glowing woman with a heartbeat frequency radiating from her chest walks a lit path away from a shadowy, puppet-string crowd toward a doorway of light, a cross, and her welcoming real ones.

Beautiful souls,

after a season of guarding your signal and auditing your circle, hear this gently: you don’t have to chase the right people. When your frequency is protected and true, the ones meant for you will feel it and find their way home to you.

You don’t have to chase what’s truly yours

Here’s the beautiful truth about a protected, re-tuned frequency: it becomes a signal.

When you stop performing, stop shrinking, and start transmitting your authentic self, you naturally begin to draw the souls who resonate with the real you - and repel the ones who never did.

Follow Friday isn’t only about who you follow. It’s about following your own frequency home to the people who actually belong in your life.

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
John 10:27
John 10:27 on Bible Gateway

You don’t have to beg, convince, or chase.
The right ones recognize the signal.

Your real ones feel like home

After everything you’ve walked through, you’ve learned the difference between people who drain you and people who restore you.

I think of my landlord, Billy, from my previous season. That connection was always peace. We got along incredibly well, and being around him felt easy and safe - despite others opinions we vibed well. Honestly, that’s part of what makes so much of my previous season hard to make sense of - so many people around me had genuinely good hearts. I stayed in the Lion’s Den so long that, one by one, people started moving away. It was strange to watch. But the peace I felt with the true ones like Billy taught me exactly what a real connection is supposed to feel like - I know that sounds odd to some I am sure but we got along well.

Your real ones don’t require you to dim your light to keep them comfortable. They don’t study your frequency to manipulate it - they celebrate it. Being around them feels like exhaling. Like home.

“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.”
Proverbs 17:17
Proverbs 17:17 on Bible Gateway

Follow the connections that feel like peace, not performance.
That peace is your frequency confirming who’s safe.

When the circle gets smaller

Here’s the honest part: protecting your frequency often makes your circle smaller.

When you cut off the energy vampires and stop giving access to everyone, some rooms get quieter. That can feel lonely at first. But here’s what I can tell you from my own life: the smaller circle has given me my complete peace, and I wouldn’t say I’ve lost much.

The one exception - the one that still aches - is the person I loved - you guys completely went out of your way to get in the way which what a bunch of cockblocks. And I know that connection was targeted on purpose. I believe I was kept in the dark precisely because of whatever was being done to her. She should never have been put in a position where she was forced away from the very person trying to help her - shame shame shame. That’s why a false narrative was sewn to my family that I was “attacking a co-worker.” It felt like being framed to cause harm to the person I loved most - dumb af - but I am sure the master manipulators pumped her full of fear - clearly since she was scared to come to work.

But even carrying that grief, I would not trade my peace to go back to the counterfeit crowd. A quiet, true circle is infinitely better than a loud, false one.

“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”
Proverbs 13:20
Proverbs 13:20 on Bible Gateway

A few real ones who resonate with your frequency will carry you further than a hundred who only tuned in to take.

Quality of frequency always beats quantity of followers.

Follow God when no one else is there

Sometimes, in the space between the counterfeit crowd and your real ones arriving, it can feel like it’s just you and God.

That’s not abandonment - that’s realignment.

When people fall away and the circle shrinks, the One worth following most is still right there. God never studies your signal to control it. He gave it to you, and He never goes silent on you.

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5
Hebrews 13:5 on Bible Gateway

Follow God first, and He’ll lead you straight to the people meant to walk beside you.

Trust the frequency to sort it out

You don’t have to force clarity about who’s who. Your frequency, guarded and true, does the sorting for you.

The wrong ones lose interest when you stop feeding what they came to take. The right ones lean in when they feel your authenticity. Your job isn’t to manage everyone - it’s to stay tuned and let the signal do its work. And always pay attention to the frequency underneath all of the noise - it’s in your heart - follow it - you don't need anyone else's approval - you have mine.

I can say this from experience: I followed the frequency of my heart in my current situation, and I was right. When I finally tuned out the static of other people’s narratives and listened to that signal underneath it all, it led me exactly where I needed to be. Your heart’s frequency doesn’t lie - even when everything around it is loud.

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Proverbs 4:23
Proverbs 4:23 on Bible Gateway

Guard the signal.
Trust the sorting.
Follow it home.

Frequency Feature: “If You Want Love” - NF

This week’s frequency feature is “If You Want Love” by NF - a raw, honest anthem about the courage it takes to open your heart, let your guard down, and give the very thing you hope to receive.

For a Follow Friday about following your frequency home to your real ones, “If You Want Love” carries the perfect frequency. NF sings a truth that resonates deeply with this week: if you want love, you have to be willing to give it and let people in -but only after you’ve learned who’s safe to open up to. It’s the balance we’ve been walking all week: guarding your heart while keeping it soft enough to receive the real ones when they come.

Let it play while you read. Let it remind you that following the frequency underneath all the noise - the one in your heart - requires you to stay open even after you’ve been hurt. Guard your signal, trust the sorting, and when your real ones arrive, be brave enough to let them in.

A Follow Friday practice

  1. Name your real ones.
Who in your life feels like home - like peace instead of performance? Thank God for them today.
  2. Release the counterfeit.
Let go of the pressure to win back anyone who only tuned in to drain or study you.
  3. Make peace with a smaller circle.
Say: “A few true connections are worth more than a crowd of counterfeits.”
  4. Follow the frequency in your heart.
Get quiet, tune beneath the noise, and take one step toward God - trusting He’s leading you to the people meant to walk beside you.

“You don’t have to chase what’s truly yours. Guard your frequency, follow it home, and trust that your real ones will feel the signal. Always pay attention to the frequency underneath all the noise - it’s in your heart - follow it. And when the circle gets small, remember the One who never leaves is still leading you toward the people meant to walk beside you.”

Your Journey Starts Here

Many have asked during my TikTok Lives how to begin their personal or spiritual journey. So far, I've explored and mapped the first three stages for those seeking alignment - the awakening, the journey inward, and the path forward.

These stages have brought profound clarity, and I'm grateful to share what I've discovered along the way.

There are still a few details unfolding, but trust that everything is aligning in its own time - and you'll be the first to know when it's ready.

Remember, this is love being transmuted into art; growth takes time, and you can't rush an actual journey, beautiful souls. In due time, all the right energy falls into place. Just have faith. Hold the vision. Always.
