Frequency Thursday: Protecting Your Frequency After You’ve Been Read

if you’ve realized that while you were reading the room, someone was studying you right back - pause here and breathe. This Frequency Thursday is about tuning back into God’s signal and guarding the frequency they tried to map, manipulate, and mute.

When you realize you were being read too

Here’s a strange and sobering truth: while you were perceiving everything around you, others were perceiving you.

Studying your patterns. Watching your reactions. Learning your frequency so they could try to predict, manage, or manipulate it.

For me, that realization crystallized in the last two interviews conducted at my previous employer. I could feel it - I knew I was being studied. And with the federal presence surrounding that workplace, I knew all eyes were on me. When I reached out and shared my genuine feelings with someone who only pretended to care, the picture became undeniable. The humiliation ritual at my job was real, and the very people around me seemed to be manipulated pieces on a board I hadn’t agreed to play on.

That realization can feel violating. But it’s also clarifying. Because once you know your signal has been read, you can finally start protecting it on purpose.

Guarding your heart isn’t about becoming cold.
It’s about becoming intentional with who gets access to your signal.

Your frequency is sacred, not public

Just because someone can read your frequency doesn’t mean they’re entitled to it.

Your energy, your intuition, your inner world - these are sacred. Not everyone has earned a front-row seat to them. Part of protecting your frequency is accepting that not every person, room, or platform deserves full access to you.

Protecting your frequency is not paranoia - it’s stewardship.

Guarding the signal without going cold

Here’s the tension for perceptive souls: how do you protect your frequency without shutting down completely?

You’ve been read, manipulated, and studied - so the temptation is to armor up and never feel again. But going numb isn’t protection; it’s just a slower way of losing your signal.

I’ve learned to walk this balance carefully. I am very slow to open up to anyone. I make sure that all my energy gets poured into my soul first - not spilled out to everyone who reaches for it. As you rise higher, cutting off the energy vampires becomes critical. They don’t always announce themselves; they simply drain you until you have nothing left to transmit. Protecting your signal means refusing to keep feeding what was only ever there to take.

The goal isn’t to stop transmitting.
The goal is to be wise about who you transmit to.

You can protect your frequency and keep your heart soft at the same time.

Audit who has access

You can’t protect a signal you leave wide open.

That means honestly auditing who has access to your energy. Some people tune in to celebrate you. Others tune in to study, drain, or destabilize you. Your discernment - the very gift we honored this week - is exactly what tells the difference.

Pouring your energy into your own soul first isn’t selfish; it’s how you keep your signal strong enough to actually help the people who genuinely belong in your life. You can’t transmit from an empty tower.

Protecting your frequency sometimes means quietly lowering the volume for certain people - no announcement, no drama. Just wisdom about who gets tuned in.

Return to the source signal

The most important part of protecting your frequency is staying tuned to the One who gave it to you.

When your signal has been read and manipulated, the noise of other people’s opinions can get louder than God’s voice. So you have to keep coming home to the source.

For me, I am constantly re-tuning to source through the authentic transmutation of my emotions. I don’t bury what I feel or perform a version of myself for the room. I let the emotion move through me honestly - grief, anger, joy, longing - and I let it transmute into something higher. That honesty is my antenna. The moment I stop pretending and start feeling truthfully, I lock right back into the source signal.

When you’re locked into God’s frequency, manipulation loses its grip.
You can’t be steered by static when you’re anchored to the source.

1. Acknowledge you were read.
   Say: “My signal was studied, but it is still mine. I’m taking it back.”
2. Reclaim what’s sacred.
   Name one part of your inner world you’ve been oversharing - and choose to protect it going forward.
3. Audit your access list.
   Identify who deserves full access to your frequency, who gets limited access, and which energy vampires need the volume lowered.
4. Re-tune to the source.
   Transmute one emotion honestly today - feel it fully, hand it to God, and let it lift you back into His frequency.
